Gratitude is the feeling of thankfulness, pleasure and appreciation. Within ourselves gratitude can unlock more positive emotions, such as happiness, love and contentment as well as increase our mental and physical wellbeing. It is an emotion that we can easily invoke but is often swept up in the business and stress of our days. This is why it’s important to remind yourself to stop, smell the roses and notice all the pockets of joy that fill your life.


Try to live each day like you have intentionally gone back to this one day, savoring the moments you would normally look past and do your best to treasure this remarkable ride. To have your health even somewhat, to have loved ones even a few, to have the freedom to pursue your passions and to have the ability to live in each moment fully, is to be lucky.


A way to fast track your gratitude attitude is to think of three things that you are grateful for when your head hits the pillow tonight. Count your joys and see for yourself how you can transform the way you see the world and live your life!
